Grower's Love Extends to City Harvest Agencies
Eli and Ali's Love Tomatoes know their business -- they distribute nearly a dozen different varieties of tomatoes, many grown organically, throughout the tri-state area to specialty grocers, restaurants, hotels, and country clubs. But when some of these tomatoes can't find a home, they call City Harvest to pick them up. Since Eli and Ali's Love Tomatoes became partners in the fight against hunger, they've donated over 152,500 pounds of tomatoes and other produce. Meet other food donors here.

“We are currently undergoing a major change in our business,” said Peter Kroner, director of corporate development and purchasing for Eli & Ali’s Love Tomatoes in Brooklyn, NY. “We are in the process of becoming third-party accredited with PrimusLabs, which will give us the opportunity to have a controlled HACCP program.”
